Rakshabandhan's actual promise

Heyyy..!!! Hope you all are doing well. Today it was a festival in my house named 'Rakshabandhan' in which sisters tie a holy thread on their brother's wrist and as a gift brother's promise to protect their sisters but you know what brothers actually should promise should be to treat not just the women in their lives but all girls with respect. The things going on in India it has somewhere shaken every girl out there, thinking what if it was them in that situation and it's a fact that every girl out there has a story in which she felt unsafe around men and it's not about their clothes or how thru behave it's just about those boys mentality. A girl never asks for it infact she always lives with a fear that what if something happens with her. It's my humble request to everyone out there that please be respectful towards girls and even people in general no matter older or younger
